Did not work as easy for my nephew and me as we saw it done on TV. Did not make the lifting and moving of a stove, washer, or, dryer as easy as seen done on TV.
Before buying this, I did thorough research on lifting straps. Obviously, there are cheapers ones in eBay or Amazon. However, upon reading the reviews, seems like those are failed imitations of the original product - as in people just put the pictures of this product, but the actual being sold nothing similar. Then, I also did generic research on the best lifting straps available - this is on top 3 and the least costly. So, I decided to buy this from the original manufacturer (rather than through HomeDepot, because HomeDepot at my location ran out of this Forearm Forklift stock). And it proves to be a really good decision. I have tried it and seems like it can sustain heavy lifting of items.
If you're willing to spend the extra money to get the lifts and the harness it should just come with the extension strap. A customer assumes the adjust-ability loops are meant to be sufficient for most items but the extension strap is really needed with any wide item other than a mattress.
Just need some extra guidance on how to use the harness. They can be awkward. Maybe not using them properly?
On moving large and awkward handling furniture I used the forearm forklift and my wife used the Full harness. In each case we just adjusted the straps to suit our comfort and the moving was so easy with no strain or instability. We are in our 60's and this has been the easiest move yet.
